Jay Bruce, center fielder for the Cincinnati Reds, batted .591 in his first week in the majors. Going 13 for 22 at the plate, has he shown that he can handle the major league pitching? Can this rookie sensation keep up the exceptional hitting? I predict that Bruce will bat just over .300 to finish out the season, which is about average for an MLB player. He is for real.

It won't last. He's too young to hit .300 to finish the season... watch, he'll start slumping. A few more years (maybe next year if he plays all year) though he'll be good, he's got the makings.
